Shipping policy

At Affêre we strive to have your Affêre delivered to you in the greenest way possible. Therefore, if your delivery address is in range, we bring your Affêre to you by bike. This way we limit our footprint as much as possible, while you benefit from the fun of an Affêre.. Cool right!?

By the way, in case you want to try your Affêre first, that is totally fine with us! Just let us know and we'll plan something! The same counts for when you're looking for an urgent Affêre, for example during holidays or weekends. Just let us know and we might be able to figure something out for you!


Delivery Information
However, sometimes, like in a long distance relationship, things just have to be sent and can't be brought by bike. If so, Affêre sends all items as a registered packet. Shipment expenses for one item charged:

Throughout NL: €0,-

Throughout Europe: €15,-


Delivery time
We want you to enjoy your Affêre as soon as possible. During weekdays we strive to send the same day (depending on the order time), and otherwise, your order will be sent the next day. We (Affêre) are NOT responsible for any delays of your package during delivery, as we have NO control over this. By placing an order with us, you accept the risk that your package may be delayed during shipment.

We strive to deliver all orders from cities within The Netherlands by bike courier. This is mostly both the quickest option and best for the environment.

For orders within Europe, we partner with DPD, as they have the highest sustainability ambitions.

For shipping outside of Europe, we make a decision based on price and reliability.

Lost or Damaged Items
You understand and agree that Affêre shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damages done by any of the services we provide. All items are purchased at your own risk. Any damage caused from shipping is to be taken up by you with the shipping company. Affêre will provide you with the tracking number and contact information for the shipping company as needed. Once this information is provided to you, it is your responsibility as the customer to contact and deal with the shipping company. We do not assume any responsibility for lost packages.

Import Tax
When ordering goods from Affêre for international deliveries you may be subject to import duties and/or taxes that apply to your country. Affêre is not responsible for any charges that are incurred from customs/duties whatsoever. Any additional charges for customs clearance are considered outside of our control and Affêre cannot predict the value of what these charges may be. For further information on custom and excise policies in your country, please contact your local customs office.

Refunds and Exchanges
Customers can return item(s) within 14 days after receiving, at your own expense (non-used item(s) in new condition). We will either exchange the item(s) and send it to you for free or refund your money minus shipping costs and/or additional fees. Affêre reserves the right to charge a restocking fee of 5 euros off refunds when merchandise is returned without prior written communication and agreement. The returned item(s) and the packaging has to be in unused as new condition.

In case of an error from our end and a return is necessary, returns should be sent using the post, not express shipping. 

Cancellation of orders: If an in stock/activated order is cancelled before it has been sent out we reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of €5,00.

We try our best to keep our web store as up to date as possible. Even though our online stock is updated automatically, there is always a possibility that ordered item(s) marked ‘available’ are NOT available in desired sizing and/or sold out. Affêre will try to inform you as soon as possible when this occurs and give you alternative options if possible.
